20/20 Vision in 2020

I’ve always been one who struggles with enjoying the present as I am always looking ahead. I can’t help but think of what 2020 holds for me and the people I serve.

Having a clear vision of the future starts by planning today. What do you see for yourself in the next couple of months? What do you see for your family and business? If you aren’t clear, you’re setting yourself up to be reactive to whatever cards life deals your way.

When we make a plan and set goals, we stack the deck. We take control of our future and destiny.

If you are unclear about what you want to see take place in 2020, it may be time to get quiet and assess the present and where you would like to be in the next year. Begin to form that mental picture in your head and then make it plain on paper.

Establish a goal.

Your goals do not have to be grandiose, they can be small accomplishments that lay the foundation of your vision for the future.

Take action.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I know what it’s like to be full of ideas and have goals and dreams but no idea how to get there. It wasn’t until I began to get serious by laying out a plan of realistic goals and actions that I began to see movement. That movement created a clearer picture of the vision I had in mind.

Repeat.

Once I took action and achieved goals, the next steps became more clear and I was able to chart a path for longevity. I set more goals and created more actions that would manifest my desired outcome.

Your idea, your dream, your wish is waiting for you to take action. There are 65 days left in this year. That is more than enough time to go after that idea that has been calling you to take action.

I encourage you to write the vision on paper. Commit to taking a step at least once a week. Is that too easy? Then take action daily. If you get stumped on where or how to begin, reach out. Let’s chat about turning that vision into a reality.

In Prosperity,

Erin C.
